Christian Youth in Action is a summer program for youth ages 12-22 who are called by God to share the Gospel with children in their local area. They do this by teaching 5-Day Clubs, a week-long VBS-style club that meets where the kids already are in the summer - daycares, YMCA's, and more. The CYIA program trains these teens how to share their faith with boldness and takes them to the 5-Day Club locations to effectively engage with children ages 5-12.

EVEREST - CYIA Training School June 6-13, 2026 CYIA Interns will learn how to teach their parts of the 5-Day Club. In addition to classes, they will have chapel, music, food, games, challenges, and more! 5-Day Club Week 1 (Observation Week) June 15-19, 2026 CYIA Interns will have practice time and teach one club all week to learn how to confidently share the Gospel with the children. 5-Day Club Week 2 June 22-26, 2026 CYIA Interns will teach two clubs each day and will spend time with each other during lunch and devotions. 5-Day Club OPTIONAL WEEK June 29-July 3, 2026 CYIA Interns who are willing and available will teach two clubs each day and will spend time with each other during lunch and devotions.
5-Day Club Week 3 July 6-10, 2026 CYIA Interns will teach two clubs each day and will spend time with each other during lunch and devotions. 5-Day Club Week 4 July 13-17, 2026 CYIA Interns will teach two clubs each day and will spend time with each other during lunch and devotions.
5-Day Club Week 5 July 20-24, 2026 CYIA Interns will teach two clubs each day and will spend time with each other during lunch and devotions.
CYIA Celebration Date TBD CYIA Interns and their families will get together with CEF staff and committee to celebrate all that God has done through CYIA over the summer. |
