Did you know that it is possible to share Jesus with children in public schools?
The Gospel has been taught freely in public schools around the world for some time. In 2001, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Good News Clubs vs. Milford Central School that Good News Clubs can meet in public schools after school hours on the same terms as other community programs.
Good News Clubs are exciting, interactive Bible clubs that meet for 60-90 minutes once a week in local public elementary schools. Through songs, memory verses, Bible lessons, and games, children learn Biblical principles, character qualities, and moral values. Most importantly, they hear the Good News of Jesus taught every week!
Good News Clubs operate in partnership between CEF and volunteers from local churches. Our desire is to have a Good News Club in EVERY school in our area!
